National Space Day

National Space Day was celebrated in our school on 23rd August 2024 in which students had a quiz competition. A quiz was organized in physics lab. in our school, on the basis of Chandrayaan modules, ISRO's space achievements like Aditya, Space Technology etc. The objective was to engage and inspire the youth of the nation towards space technology and its applications. The theme was 'Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India's Space Saga'. Three students each from six houses, namely Courage, Victory, Peace, Freedom, Unity and Honesty were selected for the quiz. The quiz consisted of three rounds:

ROUND 1-AUDIO/VIDEO round: Participants were shown video clippings and questions from the video were asked.

ROUND 2- QUESTION round: Participants were questioned one by one and they had to answer within 60 seconds. 2 scores were given for each correct answer.

ROUND 3-RAPID FIRE round: Questions were asked one after the other. Participants were to tap at the earliest and answer. Negative scoring of one was there for wrong answer.

All the six teams competed while audiences were enjoying the game. Peace house won the quiz with highest score of 13.

The event went very knowledgeable, learning experience and thrill.
