Learning came alive at DAV Public School Kailash Hills on Saturday (16-May-26), as the school celebrated an engaging and joyful Bagless Day, dedicated entirely to experiential learning and hands-on activities in Classes VI to VIII. The day provided students with an opportunity to explore concepts beyond textbooks through creativity, collaboration, and practical experiences.Students across all classes enthusiastically participated in a variety of innovative activities. Science concepts were transformed into energetic rap songs. Mathematics became exciting through treasure hunt puzzles and the creation of a colourful city model.In Social Science and Environmental Education, students showcased their awareness and artistic skills through poster making activities on resource conservation.The English department encouraged imagination and expression through 3D models and creative collages based on English lessons.A special highlight of the day was the focus on Kaushal Bodh Projects, where students engaged in skill-based and experiential activities. Through vermicomposting, students learned the process of converting organic waste into compost. The puppet show activity enhanced communication, storytelling, and teamwork skills. In the Habitat Garden project, students explored different types of habitats and learned how living organisms adapt and survive in their environments. Science learning became even more interactive with live demonstrations of separation methods. The Bagless Day was a wonderful blend of learning, creativity, and practical exposure. It not only strengthened conceptual understanding but also nurtured confidence, teamwork, innovation, and life skills among students. The event truly reflected the spirit of joyful and holistic learning.
