Child Safety & Well-being

Activity: Good Touch, Bad Touch Awareness Session

An awareness session on “Good Touch and Bad Touch” was conducted for all students to reinforce the importance of personal safety before the vacation period. As children may spend more time visiting relatives or playing in their neighborhoods during the holidays, they were reminded to stay alert and aware of their personal boundaries.

Teachers explained the concepts of safe touch and unsafe touch in a simple, age-appropriate, and sensitive manner. Students were encouraged to say “NO,” move away from uncomfortable situations, and immediately inform trusted adults such as parents, teachers, or guardians if they ever feel unsafe.

The interactive session empowered students with the confidence to recognize unsafe situations, speak up without fear, and make safe choices. It concluded with a strong message that every child has the right to feel safe, respected, and protected at all times.
